An episode of Suicide Missions entitled Ice Road Truckers on the History Channel in 1999 spawned a series of the same name eight years later.
Since its debut on June 17th, 2007, Alex Debogorski and Hugh Rowland have been constants on the series which has chronicled the real life adventures of truckers in the Northwest Territories and Alaska.
To date, the first three seasons have been officially released on DVD.
